It is a shame for a person to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which their body is capable

Who am I?

I've always had a passion for fitness and sports, with football being my main focus from a young age. My journey evolved from playing to coaching, and I've spent over 15 years in the coaching field.

Currently, I manage a youth team for my hometown's semi-professional club. My goal is to inspire and develop young athletes, nurturing their growth and love for the sport.

After struggling with numerous injuries during my football career, my passion for the sport waned, leading me to discover a new love for the gym. This newfound interest guided me to create CYapp Fitness.

CYapp Fitness is an Online Body Transformation service dedicated to helping you shed fat, build muscle, and make lasting, healthy changes. I specialise in supporting those with busy, sedentary lifestyles - especially those stuck behind a desk all day - by integrating fitness into their lives through sustainable habits.

You won't need to spend hours on cardio, follow extreme diets, or miss out on social events. I believe that enjoying life is as crucial as being healthy, and when you're not healthy, your quality of life suffers.

My mission is to help you become the best version of yourself by transforming both your body and mind!

My fitness journey

First steps

Maintaining a lean physique was easy for me due to my active lifestyle, but I always struggled with being too skinny and lacking muscle mass.

When I turned 17, I decided it was time to bulk up and sculpt a more impressive physique. So, I joined a gym and, like many beginners, dove into lifting weights that were too heavy, with poor form and minimal technique!

My struggles in the gym

Between the ages of 17 and 20, I struggled with gym consistency and found it hard to stay motivated, as I didn't see much change in my physique. Despite lifting heavy weights and chugging protein shakes after workouts (which, by the way, wasn't the key to gains), I saw no significant results. I convinced myself that I must have poor genetics and that gaining muscle would always be a challenge.

Things changed when a friend joined a gym nearby. From ages 20 to 23, I started going to the gym more regularly. Even though my form was still questionable and my nutrition knowledge was lacking, I began to see some progress. This progress gave me the motivation I needed to keep pushing forward.

By age 23, after sticking to a "chicken, broccoli, and rice" diet, I achieved a somewhat lean physique. The process was tough, not because of the diet itself, but because of the strict dietary restrictions I imposed on myself. I had hoped this diet would make me look like the shredded bodybuilders I admired, but I quickly realised how misguided that expectation was.

Educating myself

After enduring a tough cutting phase, I decided to dig into the fitness industry myself. While there's a lot of misleading information out there (which is quite concerning!), I found a wealth of valuable, free resources. YouTube, in particular, turned out to be an incredible tool for learning.

From then on, I devoted hours to researching health, weight loss, and muscle growth. What I discovered was eye-opening: weight loss doesn't have to be grueling or restrictive at all! In fact, it can be surprisingly straightforward if you know the right strategies - or better yet, if you have a knowledgeable coach guiding you.

The following summer, I put my newfound knowledge to the test and achieved the best shape of my life, dropping my body fat below 10%! And I did it while still enjoying my favourite foods and avoiding endless hours of cardio.

Since then, my passion for the gym and personal growth has soared, helping me build a respectable amount of muscle while keeping a lean physique throughout the year.

Why me

I'm realistic

I know how hard it is to be told to follow a strict diet. No coffee with friends. No drinks on the weekend. No socialising. On my programme, you'll be able to enjoy your favourite activities with minimal restrictions.

Life is for living. I encourage socialising. I encourage drinking. I encourage eating the foods you love. Of course, sensible decision making and moderation is necessary to stay on track with your goals. I aim to teach you how to incorporate your favourite things into your life, all whilst maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I've been there

I've been that guy that's struggled to put on size. Residing in the fact that I'll never be able to gain any significant muscle mass.

When at my leanest, I was going out every weekend, I was the most social I've ever been.

I've been there, and can do the same for you. Working around your work, personal, family and career commitments.

I care

There's nothing I love more than helping others achieve their goals. Witnessing improvements in both physical and mental health is incredibly rewarding. If I can help just one person enhance their well-being, I'm truly satisfied. For me, the more people I can support and guide, the greater the personal joy I experience.
